"Heh, sorry.." Jack apologised sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. "I’m just excited!" He lied. Under normal circumstances he would feel horrible about lying but technically he wasn’t lying this time. He was very excited. The frost teen wanted nothing more than to fill the pooka’s precious warren. He just was neglecting to tell Alice about his out-of-control emotions. ‘Be happy.’ He reminded himself and tried to make himself smile more.
Jack finished two more snowmen and looked over to see Alice starting another one. The boy grinned and jumped over to where she was so he could help. Together they started building a massive snowman that kind of resembled a general of their little army. Jack chuckled just thinking about the pooka’s reaction. It was going to be heaps funny!! And speaking of the rabbit, Jack was sure he could here something coming towards them. “Hey…..” He whispered, taking her uninjured hand. “We need to hide now, come on.”
The little ones weren’t too hard to make, but there was the occasional hassle of getting it right. But if she thought the small one were hard, the general was a monster to make. Thankfully Jack came over and made the whole ordeal from nearly impossible to a walk in the park. When it was done, it was truly the perfect touch. They finished just in time, with Bunnymund coming around the corner with his mouth hanging open at the sight of his warren covered in at least a foot of snow. A jaw that dropped even lower as he came across the numerous snowmen that dotted the landscape. Thankfully Jack and Alice managed to sneak off to a good hiding spot before Bunny spotted them, but Alice did manage to hear Bunny muttering something about how he knew this would happen, how was he going to get rid of all this snow, and something that could be translated along the lines of murdering someone… or ones. All the while trying to keep her laughing down to a few snickers or giggles and immensely enjoying the hand in her grip. But it was harder to admit the latter one.
